Neetchee - Among Friends

Fine, with one another silent,
Finer, with one another laughing -
Under heaven's silky cloth
Leaning over books and moss
With friends lightly, loudly laughing
Each one showing white teeth shining.

If I did well, let us be silent,
If I did badly, let us laugh
And do it bad again by half,
More badly done, more badly laugh,
Until the grave, when down we climb.

Friends! Well! What do you say?
Amen! Until we meet again!

it had been a wonderful evening and what i needed now, to give it the perfect ending, was a little of the ludwig van... oh bliss! bliss and heaven! oh it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh; it was like a bird of rarest spun heaven metal, or like silvery wine flowing in a space ship, gravity all nonsense now. as i slooshied, i knew such lovely pictures!

Mau Drive

Disappointed with the overall lack of flow and effort put into the Drive OST (5 vocal tracks + Cliff Martinez ambience slapped in one after the other) Mau decided to take matters into his own hands, and assembled a mix truly befitting the movie.

ps. this mix, as well as Mushroom King & Mixtape Be Good have made my late night drives back from waterloo purdyyyy awesummmmm :)

Young Jerks Be Free Tonight

"There are two types of designers: Lennons and McCartneys. As a John Lennon, you create work that is message-driven, stark and serious, but you run the risk of seeming pretentious and/or naïve. (In John Lennon's defense, he was unfortunately married to the world's worst art director.) To be a Paul McCartney, on the other hand, means creating beautiful, meticulously crafted graphic design pop music, heavy on style but light on content. While either can be successful on its own (I love Wings), the best design employs both ideology and style. (See: popular music group "The Beatles")."
